About Adelyn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play with a fearless mindset and with very high intensity. I take pride in being the leader of the back row. I'm loud, focused, and supportive of my teammates.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a determined and competitive mindset. I hate letting the ball drop and I am always pushing myself to play to the best of my ability. I'm always coachable and I love hyping up my teammates keeping a ton of energy on the court.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college that values hard work, team culture, and personal growth in addition to athletic talent. I would love to be involved in a program that emphasizes strong team chemistry and defensive discipline. A college that balances competitive volleyball with academic support is really important to me along with a culture that has a strong passion for the game and a huge drive.

This Spirit team is loaded with talent throughout their rotation. As they have challenged themselves well all club season long by competing in some big events, a mainstay on the court has been Van Sickle, one of the best DS/L prospects in this Ohio 2028 class. She is a pure athlete that can do a lot and bring a lot in her physical tools, skills, and sheer competitiveness. Seeded third in Pool B, don’t underestimate what they bring collectively as they could finish above that seed heading to day two towards a bid.
