Wright brings versatility to the Blackcats. Wright put up sound numbers running the offense last season. She consistently puts hitters in position to succeed. Wright mixes in tough set-overs to catch opponents by surprise. Her hitting speed even improved during the season.

Wright has used her experience to help the Blackcats win four of their last six games including one over Johnson Central. Wright knows where her hitters like balls and does what she can to hit the targets so they put good power into balls. Wright makes nice first touches and is not afraid to push balls over on second hits to surprise defenses. Wright will be more effective with work on her setting speed.
