Staples emerged as a star as a freshman at Tecumseh last season, notching 384 kills and 394 assists to help lead the Braves to a 26-9 record and a PAC championship. Adley possesses a unique skillset, excelling as a setter and an outside hitter. Adley’s court vision and instincts are her carrying traits, placing her swings with pinpoint precision. Staples will be a player that the Braves count on as they look to improve on last season’s Regional Championship appearance.

Kelsey’s counterpart is a class of ‘29 athlete who does the same—-a hybrid kid that sets from the back row and attacks from the front. I’m starting to think that all the athletic women at Tecumseh are capable of just about anything in any sport EVER, as their multidisciplinary acuity in all sports is of the highest quality. In Adley’s case, her volleyball IQ is quite high, and is one to keep an eye on in recruiting—-in multiple areas.
