Sauer earned 567 total assists in 2024 while also contributing 163 digs, 43 aces, and 41 blocks. Coming off a competitive club season with TVC, she returns with some good offense around her that should increase her setting production in 2025 given the improvement some of these arms have made over recent months. Sauer averaged over seven assists per set in 2024 earning all-district honors. She led a Northview team that should return a solid corps of prospects next fall season. She has good size at 5’10 that helps her create high contact when setting while also helping her contribute defensively at the net through which she was second on her Northview team in total blocks. Sauer filled the role as the Wildcats’ primary setter. She dished a total of 567 assists for a 7.2 a/s average, earning her a spot on the all-league 2nd team in the Buckeye division. At 5’10, she is athletic with good movement to pursue and deliver the ball. With some youth around her offensively there is a lot to be excited about Sauer and her team for the future. As she was second on the team in total blocks, she was also second for the Wildcats with her back row defense was through the 7.2 d/m she picked up.

Sauer comes in third in total votes received at nearly 5,500. The sophomore has assumed a much bigger role in Northview’s offense and is offering up seven assists per set. She puts up a good ball and shows good balance in her distribution based upon Northview’s personal that includes strength in the middle phase. As Sauer saw some healthy action as an attacker during the club season, she continues to establish herself as a good two-way prospect in her ability to distribute the ball as well as take big swings at the pins when needed. Northview is currently 2-2 in league play and will next face Steele this weekend.
