Freshman outside Aleeah Boller Aleeah Boller OH Milton High School | 2030 GA currently leads Milton at 3.0 kills per set. More importantly, she’s taking those swings inside a varsity lineup where opponents are already learning that she’s one of the players they need to slow down. MaxPreps.com
Aleeah plays with good attacking confidence for a freshman. She doesn’t look like someone waiting for permission to become an offensive option. But this stage of the season is where the evaluation becomes more interesting because the easy surprise factor is disappearing. Teams have seen her. Blocks are forming earlier. Defenders are beginning to anticipate tendencies.
Now we get to watch how she solves those problems. Can Aleeah use the block instead of always trying to beat it cleanly? Can she stay aggressive after a couple of errors? How much can she improve her serve receive so her offense becomes available in all six rotations? At 5-foot-8, the complete skill set will matter, and she’s getting the varsity repetitions to start building it now. ~ S.Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga

Freshman outside hitter Aleeah Boller Aleeah Boller OH Milton High School | 2030 GA hasn’t needed much time to make herself part of Milton’s offense. She has already become one of the team’s most productive attackers, averaging around three kills per set and getting meaningful swings against varsity competition.
What I like about Aleeah is that she keeps attacking. Young hitters can get cautious once teams start putting a bigger block in front of them or begin sitting on their favorite shot, but she has continued playing aggressively and taking the opportunities Milton gives her.
Now the fun part is watching her game expand. As defenses get more familiar with her, she’ll have to find more ways to score — using hands, changing speed, finding line and staying effective when the set isn’t perfect. She’s getting those lessons early, which should only help her as she develops.. ~ S.Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga

Aleeah’s early varsity responsibility is particularly interesting because she is learning these lessons while competing inside a strong lineup. She already shows the confidence to attack at varsity speed, but the most valuable part of this season may be learning when she does not need to overpower a rally.
For a young attacker, vision often develops after physical confidence. Seeing open court, recognizing late blockers and understanding when to roll, wipe or attack deep corners can dramatically expand a hitter’s effectiveness without requiring another inch of vertical or another mile per hour on the swing. Aleeah has already earned meaningful opportunities. Now she gets to build the volleyball IQ that makes those opportunities harder to defend. ~ S.Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga
