Player Bio

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am versatile, transitioning easily from front to back row—and I’m pretty fast for a tall girl. :) I will dive into the crowd, the bleachers, the concession stand…hate letting balls drop. (And I have the knee scars to prove it!)

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

In my early years at Circle City, I learned how critical it is to not let one bad play get into your head. I’ve learned to stay composed and treat each play as unique.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Honor Roll, and the AP Program at Heritage.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Playing club volleyball teaches you how to quickly learn to build a community and a team around a group of people that you may not know well. I’ve made lifelong friendships (and learned how to deal with conflict in a healthy way). Off the court, I volunteer for the Humane Society and with my youth group.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I was diagnosed with a chronic GI Disease about a year ago. It had gone undiagnosed for years prior to that. I’ve since learned how to stay healthy and avoid triggers that cause flare ups. It has been a good lesson in paying attention to my health on every level—physically, mentally and emotionally.
