Lybeck is another player I had the chance to watch a couple of times during the club season, and there is a lot to like about her game. She is quick, sees the court well, and does a great job finding open space. Lybeck also has a full toolbox offensively and understands that scoring doesn’t always require the biggest swing. She can bring the heat when it is there but also knows when to mix in a well placed push or tip to score or keep the opponent out of system. Her ability to see the court and find different ways to score makes her a tough attacker to defend.

Lybeck proved that she is a middle blocker that can be highly effective on both sides of the ball. She was efficient in the middle attack, scoring consistently and creating pressure on opposing blockers by going over, around, and sometimes through defenders. Defensively, she did a solid job controlling the net, either by closing the block or slowing balls down with effective block touches. Her ability to impact the game on both offense and defense was a key component for her team winning the tournament.
