Abby Snethen | Prep Dig Scout

Pelesasa (*pictured) made an impact with her first contact attacking at the net. She can generate a big arm as she seemingly got more impressive as the session moved from controlled contacts to more competitive game play. She is terminal from the pins with an aggressive swing that can put good heat on the defense, but it was in her quicker middle action that she looked more comfortable an fluid. She also looked good mechanically in her net defense in both directions. You can see her back with NPJ this club season.

An MB/OH who could potentially play any spot along the net, Pelesasa has a heavy hand as an attacker and plays with a high volleyball IQ. Attackers found it difficult to power balls through her big block for NPJ this club season, and she will be a crucial part of Mt. Rainier’s squad this fall. Pelesasa is #6 overall in the 2028 rankings.

The 2028 prospect from Mount Rainier has been filling the stat sheet and bringing the heat out of the Rams’ middle position. Pelesasa has a hammer arm, and when an overpass comes her way, she ends it with a thundering kill. She is powerful as a blocker; when she gets her hands to a ball, it rarely makes it across the net. Pelasasa keeps Mount Rainier fired up with her energy and is a tough competitor on the court.
