Taliloa has a high volleyball IQ and the ability to see the tips and rolls seemingly before they happen. She plays excellent defense from the setter spot, reading the opposing team’s tendencies and positioning herself to make plays. Her hustle to reach the second ball or a shot is outstanding, and she delivers well-located sets from challenging positions when needed.

Taliloa plays with terrific hands as a setter and as a tough defender when swings and tips are in her area. She had an incredible connection with her middles at the West Coast Invite and can always throw an accurate setter to either pin from difficult locations on the court. Taliloa has a knack for stabbing up a dig with one hand; her strength allows her to make plays on balls that look headed to the floor for a point.

Taliloa and her NPJ Seattle 16 National squad battled hard at Regionals. Her size, feel, and soft hands help her deliver effortless sets to attackers, pin to pin. This squad has two other dynamic setters, Tristyn Ervin Tristyn Ervin 5'10" | S/RS Bellevue | 2028 State WA and Adeline Pozzie, both on board. Combined with Taliloa NPJ, it has multiple skilled options to run the offense. Taliloa is almost always in the correct position, and her read on the game lets her anticipate the next ball or play, putting her attackers in the best possible matchup.
