About Alexis

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a very aggressive and determined player. I never give up when going for a ball and I use my agility and speed to keep the ball in play. I am also a smart hitter because I can read the defense and use both hard swings and tips to my advantage.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am disciplined, hard-working, and overall a competitive athlete. I'm willing to try new things and I just enjoy playing the game. I work hard in practice and use all of my skills when it is game time.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am an active member in my school's Student Council, HOSA (Health Occupational Students of America), NHS (National Honor Society), Environmental Action Club, FCA (Fellowship Christian Athletes), and Spanish Club. I have also earned Student of the Quarter Award for the past 2 years and have made High Honor roll every quarter.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I volunteer frequently in my community with opportunities ranging from our annual River Run to the high school blood drive. Through that service, I have learned to use leadership techniques both on and off the court. I also learned how to use the help of my teammates to achieve our goals. I try to volunteer as much as possible because they never fail to show up and support me in my games.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a medium-sized to larger college because I want to be part of a diverse student body, learning more about the different cultures of my fellow students.
