Ivy was a dynamic outside hitter who showed great versatility in her offensive game. She ran a variety of routes, even stepping into the middle to create mismatches and keep blockers guessing out of serve receive. Her ability to score with a sharp, consistent line shot made her a tough player to defend and a reliable option in key moments. Beyond her attacking, she stayed engaged in all rotations, contributing in serve receive and bringing a steady, confident presence on the court that helped her team score.

Ivy Boelk is a dynamic, all-around weapon, she switches between right side and outside throughout matches while playing all six rotations and defending out of middle back. Standing 6’0 with a great wingspan, she provides an intimidating wall at the net, pairing a huge block with an explosive vertical. Offensively, she dominates her matchups across the net by using their hands, finding seams, and sometimes hitting right over them. She forces opponents to adjust their entire scheme to slow her down. Whether she’s snapping a sharp cut shot from the left side, painting the line from the right, or unloading on a hard swing, she’s a constant offensive threat.

Standing 6’0 with a great wingspan, Boelk provides an intimidating wall on the right side. She dominated some of her matchups by simply hitting over the block into middle-back when facing a rotational defense, forcing opponents to adjust their entire defensive scheme to try to stop her.

Boelk is an athlete playing up an age group, and she has found several ways to make an impact for a talented Wisconsin Ice squad. This past weekend, she was rocking the middle, and we saw a very strategic and effective deep corner tip. Boelk has so much length and a solid vertical, which allows her to go over a lot of blockers. With that power, she has the responsibility of still finding the open court, and she does a great job executing.

Ivy is an all-around talented athlete. She is a dynamic athlete who can play across the net. No matter if Ivy is in the middle or on the pin, she will impact the game offensively. She has a high contact and good placement of the ball. She is a highly competitive player with a keen eye for open spots. Her balance of decision-making and power make her a lethal option for her setters on every play.

Ivy is an explosive middle who is also a talented all-around athlete. For Wisconsin Ice 15 National, Ivy played all six rotations and was one of their top offensive and defensive weapons. She has a high vertical and contact on the ball. Ivy is an impact player who is confident on the court and has huge potential.
