Aliyah can do it all! She is a 6’1″ setter and right side hitter who also plays great defense. Her court awareness makes her shine. She provides spot-on set placement, regardless of where she handles the ball. In the back row, she reads hitters well, giving her an advantage on defense, which is why she was able to dig back-to-back hits with grace and precision. No matter which touch, Aliyah betters the ball for her teammates to be successful!

Aliyah is a gamer. She thrives under pressure and loves to compete for each point. Her tall frame and athleticism allows her to play in a 6-2 or 5-2 system. She also has been trained as a hitter and can stay in as a right side if need be. Her footwork is efficient and hands are clean when she is setting. Her touch point while hitting is something others should try to replicate. I haven’t seen her serve receive yet but i’m fairly sure she would kill it as well. Her versatility is why we put her ahead of the rest and #1 at her position.

is the definition of range. In addition to being a vital member of the back row and a great right-side hitter, she is also a very good setter, demonstrating that she is nearly invincible on the court. She could undoubtedly fill in and perform admirably if her team needed her in a different capacity. She can stop attacks with her dangerously tall blocking abilities, and her towering presence at the net makes her a nightmare for opposition hitters. She can find ways to put the ball away from wherever making her a dangerous scoring option when combined with a strong approach and a high volleyball IQ. Aliyah is one of the few athletes that can have a complete impact on the game. She is a star in Oklahoma’s 2027 class and a player to watch as she develops further because of her versatility, skill, and overall domination.
