I was able to see Burns in action this past high school season at GET. She is a freshman right side pin hitter with tremendous potential. Working hard on the varsity court this fall, Burns has a dominant presence at the net being 6’3″ which allows her to challenge opposing teams hitters and blockers. She also possesses a strong, controlled swing herself that led to many scoring opportunities. Burns is taking her talents to Elevate this club season where she is sure to make a huge impact there as well.

Allie Burns is a RS/MB from the small school of Galesville-Ettrick-Trempealeau. I watched her play this past weekend in the 15s division. Her height and power alone make her a positive attack option for any setter. However, one of her biggest strengths on the court this weekend was her ability to play the net. She read the ball well, put up an effective block, and was able to get to those sets that were misplaced or too tight to the net. Burns will be one to keep tabs on as her volleyball career continues.
