Tinkle toes as I was seeing her all tournament long. She was either dancing around on the court or off. Very versatile with the capabilities of being moved to the Right Ride just as often with her agility and footwork. Adjusting to difficult balls and making plays. Hard-hitting from every position and angle. While playing for Evelate Volleyball Club, you can see she is enjoying herself.

Allison is a huge front row presence who made an impact with both her blocking and attacking ability. She controlled the net with strong timing defensively and brought power offensively every time she got a swing. Her size, confidence, and physicality made her tough to play against throughout the match.

I was able to see Burns in action this past high school season at GET. She is a freshman right side pin hitter with tremendous potential. Working hard on the varsity court this fall, Burns has a dominant presence at the net being 6’3″ which allows her to challenge opposing teams hitters and blockers. She also possesses a strong, controlled swing herself that led to many scoring opportunities. Burns is taking her talents to Elevate this club season where she is sure to make a huge impact there as well.

Allie Burns is a RS/MB from the small school of Galesville-Ettrick-Trempealeau. I watched her play this past weekend in the 15s division. Her height and power alone make her a positive attack option for any setter. However, one of her biggest strengths on the court this weekend was her ability to play the net. She read the ball well, put up an effective block, and was able to get to those sets that were misplaced or too tight to the net. Burns will be one to keep tabs on as her volleyball career continues.
