About Allison

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play with intent and purpose. I try my best to always get the ball up and get up a good set for my players while also being strategic with my set distribution and swinging.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am very open to criticism and feedback and also willing to put whatever I’m told to fix into play. I can be out-going at times while also listening and communicating with others.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in different bands for my school along with art club and Chinese club. I am always willing to try new things that are available to me.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Some skills that I’ve developed are leadership, taking charge, adapting to other people’s way of playing, and being a good role model and leading by example for those on my team and those not on my team.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One challenge I’ve faced was when I was getting in my head a bit because I thought I wasn’t doing well enough. Although I felt that way I still pushed and persevered. I did my best and contributed the most I could to my team so I could overcome that feeling of letting my team down.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that has multiple benefits for a student-athlete. A good education has always been important to me so I could expand my knowledge on certain topics I’m interested in.
