The 6’1 setter/right side combo player is definitely one who can make waves at the next level. She plays for MOD out of Chicagoland and preps at Loyola Academy. Watching Mikal live, she brings an athletic and physical style to the setter position. Defensively she can put up a strong block and defend the right back position while offensively she can find the favorable matchup and take it over on two when she needs to. This MOD squad from the 16s age group was very strong and will have other 2027s to take a look at.
