Alyssa had some great blocks during the six-on-six competitions that our scouts couldn’t help but notice! I wouldn’t be surprised if she tallied the most blocks at the event, both solo and assisted. On the offensive side of things, Alyssa was just as impressive. Even when the sets weren’t perfect, she knew how to make it work. One of her go-to moves was using a smart power tip off the blockers’ hands, turning what could’ve been a missed opportunity into an easy kill. But when she does get a solid set, watch out—because she has no problem hammering the ball straight to the ten-foot line with power and precision.

Pino was a great player to watch at the showcase and is poised for a standout club season. With her elite combination of blocking and hitting skills, there’s no doubt that college coaches should have or be adding her to their radar.
