About Amelia

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a confident player who stays focused. As a setter, I work hard to make smart plays and help my teammates score. I give my best in every situation and work hard to deliver a set to my hitters where they need it. I have consistent energy while running a 5-1 offense.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I bring a calm but competitive mindset. I lead by example, stay positive under pressure, and always put my team first. I’m focused on growth, hustle, and encouraging the players around me. I'm very outgoing, and I have a fun personality

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I've been on the Honor Roll for both 7th and 8th grade

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership skills, especially as a setter who is responsible for guiding the offense. I continually communicate on the court to maintain a common understanding with my hitters. I’ve learned the importance of teamwork, trusting my teammates, and staying mentally tough during matches.

Amelia is most proud of the constant energy she brings to the court and the positive environment she helps create. As a setter, she takes pride in running a quicker offense and seeing the court well for her hitters, offering feedback and support to help them succeed.

Mental toughness and empathy are central to Amelia’s approach. She values bouncing back quickly from mistakes and supporting teammates through challenges. Her advice emphasized putting in extra work outside of practice, committing to development, and understanding that consistent effort compounds over time.
