About Amelia
Expert Analysis
Charlie Shields | Prep Dig Scout
Amelia was crushing it at the Resolution. She’s a natural in the back court and has a really clean platform that makes hard-driven balls look easy. She does a great job covering the block and picking up tipped balls that others miss. She reads hitters well and is always in the right spot defensively. She’s going to be a key piece for SPASH over the next two school seasons.

is a gritty and reliable defensive specialist who brings high-level court awareness and consistency to the back row. Her platform control is clean, and she’s quick to read hitters, making her a steady presence in serve-receive and out-of-system defense. Amelia’s ability to cover the court and extend rallies makes her a valuable asset in high-pressure moments. She communicates with confidence and plays with a composed intensity that stands out in the libero role. Glaeser has earned a well-deserved spot on our 2028 watchlist and is one to watch closely this weekend.~Theresa @prepdigdakotas

Glaeser has this laser-focused intensity about her. She reads the server closely, and I think she sometimes knows what a hitter will do before they’ve even decided. Glaeser puts up a beautiful 2nd ball out of system, and middles quickly learn not to tip when she’s around.

I have not seen Glaeser play before this weekend and was very impressed with her abilities. I was immediately struck by her quickness. She covered tremendous ground, came up with some huge saves, ran threw the short balls, and positioned herself effectively to come up with some big digs. Glaeser also has a good float serve. Her serve has that crazy lefty movement on it that proved cumbersome for many teams. While I didn’t keep stats, I wouldn’t be surprised if she led the tournament with aces on the weekend.
