Amelia Litschke, a Class of 2029 libero from Sage Ridge High School and Northern Nevada Juniors Volleyball Club, has put together a great start to a young career that makes a coaching staff immediately start talking about her future. She had a fantastic freshman campaign at her high school and it has translated to the club season well also. What stands out on the court is not just the volume of her production but the quality of her reads as she anticipates hitter tendencies early and positions herself before the play develops, which allows her to control a high percentage of defensive contacts. Her platform is consistent under pressure, and she handles pace well without sacrificing accuracy in serve receive. Training within the Northern Nevada Juniors program, which has a strong track record of developing college-bound athletes, puts her in the right environment to keep building. She competes with the kind of intensity that translates at every level, and her back row instincts are already well beyond her class.
