A’miyah Roberson A’miyah Roberson 5'10" | RS/MB Millennium | 2029 State AZ is dynamic, smart, and brings a ton of passion every time she steps on the court. Her versatility immediately stands out, as she can be an impactful attacker from both the middle and right side positions. She’s physical at the net, plays with great energy, and consistently finds ways to make herself part of the offense regardless of where she’s lined up.

Robertson is also a major presence on the block. She takes up space, works hard to close, and gives the defense behind her a strong block to work around. Offensively, she stays available and engaged, constantly transitioning and presenting herself as an option for her setter. That willingness to work every rally makes her especially difficult to lose track of.

Her communication may be one of the best parts of her game. Robertson is constantly talking, whether she’s helping organize the block, communicating with teammates, or simply bringing energy between points. She plays with an obvious love for competing, and that combination of athleticism, versatility, volleyball IQ, and passion allows her to impact far more than just the stat sheet.

One player that really stood out to me with her overall play was A’miyah as she was a key offensive and defensive player for the Tigers in their match up with Pinnacle. She was second on the team in kills during the match with 12 and would do a great job hitting around blocks, through them, or use speed to beat the block in the hole. She was more impressive on defense though, finishing the match with a game high 7 blocks, and that isn’t including how many more she got touches on or how many hitters she effected with her hands being in front of them! She was an impressive force at the net on both sides of the ball, and someone who seems to keep getting better each week and each season. She is someone to keep an eye on and was a clear standout last week and in this match.
