How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am very scrappy and aggressive on defensive, I like to simplify serve receive while moving in my seams to keep my team in system.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am tenacious. I've been told so many times that I am not enough, or not able to do this or that at this point I tune it out. My mentality is to go after everything with my head up, I encourage others to keep not only my mind in the right place but my teammates as well. Others would describe my personality as bubbly, my whole life I've been called a ray of sunshine.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Outside of volleyball I play a huge role in my school. I am apart of Link Crew, FCA, NHS, and this year I want to join speech and debate as well as DECA. Me and two of my friends are also looking to start FBLA.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I would say I have developed leadership skills through many years of participating in STUCO, Link Crew, but also volleyball. I have learned what it means to be a good teammate on and off the court. Another skill I have developed is work ethic, nothing has ever been handed to me, I work for everything I've earned. This means working when no one else is, through extra practices, reps, and time.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have faced significant challenges in my life most notable being breaking both my femurs at 8 y/o. I was rock climbing with my dad when the knot came undone. I made a full recovery, however I had to relearn how to walk, build all my leg muscle back, while in the middle of a lawsuit. This challenge didn't just teach me perseverance but also what it means to believe in God's plan wholeheartedly.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a home, a college that feels like home whether thats on the beach or in the forest. I want a college with good academics and opportunities that will lead my on a career past volleyball. A must have in a college is a resources for student athletes such as recreational centers or tutoring.
