Sayman featured for the Areté 16 Navy Telos side that secured a 14th-place finish in the event after getting four wins and three losses. Her game relied on her superior technical skills and her high volleyball IQ, and she was able to keep a high level of play at all times. Despite not being very tall or potent, Sayman was very efficient offensively, consistently finding solutions to difficult plays and managing to put the ball down even when dealing with inaccurate sets or when facing big blockers. The outside hitter was also very consistent and productive with her passing and defense.
