Miss Girdzus is currently an unranked prospect in the 2028 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings.  She plays for McKinney North High School and also plays for the 1United volleyball club.  One aspect that really stood out about Olivia when I watched her was how solid her posture was when she contacted the ball as a setter.  This allows her to really not have any “tells” for the defense to pick up on. Her height in the position allows her to stay in the front row or hit right side if need be.  She had a nice soft touch on the ball and it allowed her to set her middles very consistently.  When we were watching her footwork, I liked that she was able to beat to ball to the net because this will really allow her to run her middles during defensive transition and that is one thing that will keep her team very aggressive.  We are going to keep our eye on her during the club season and you should as well.  Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award at this showcase.
