One of the best left-handed attackers in the Ohio 2028 class, Dimacchia is a key returning threat for this offense that is poised to score a lot of points. Her physical tools are impressive as displayed by what she did this past high school season in leading Elyria Catholic to a lot of wins and a deep postseason run. She gets up and opens her shoulders well to allow her to swing with good heat and control to move the ball around. Look for her as a go-to arm in key moments.

Dimacchia is such an intriguing prospect as she brought her big effort from the last club season to the fall high school schedule. Elyria Catholic’s season ended in the DV regional final round to the eventual state champion but not without a big effort from Dimacchia. With 326 total kills, she averaged a career best 4.7 k/s in 2025, earning a DV all-Ohio 2nd team honor. Her pin presence is significant as she has a big left arm that can get the ball onto the defense in a hurry. On the defensive side, she contributed 14 digs and 1.5 blocks per match for the Panthers.

Dimacchia is an athlete, one that competes well across all sports seasons for her high school. In the fall, she is a major force on the volleyball court as the 5’10 pin is left handed and a big jumper. Elyria Catholic, the top-ranked DV team at the end of the poll season, finished 23-3 overall with a recent 3-1 loss to Lake Catholic in the regional final round. Dimacchia was their top offensive threat at 4.7 k/s while leading them on the defensive side as well at 6.3 d/s. As she helped elevate her Spirit VC team during the club season, the all-Ohio 2nd team member was just as impressive during the fall for a team that will return all of their key components next year.

As a freshman in 2024, Dimacchia was the second top point scorer for Elyria Catholic and will likely assume a larger role this fall after the graduation of their offensive leader. She is a very capable attacker and will return even better following a productive club season with her Spirit team. The lefty swings aggressively and with a veteran mentality. She has good arm speed and is a tough task for opposing defenses. Dimacchia was a District 3 DV 1st team selection last season.

The 5’10 Dimacchia has good elevation off the floor and a big left arm swing. She was a great option for Spirit all club season with her ability to get her feet to the ball and generate good pace upon contact. Getting a lot of opportunity on the power side of the court, she was tough to stop as a lefty outside hitter. She was a key piece of offense for Elyria Catholic in 2024 as their second best scorer as a freshman so look for her to be their top option in 2025.
