Mulgrew (*pictured) has a unique role in that she sees a lot of opportunity to swing at the left pin as a left-handed attacker. Her tools though are highly effective in how she times the ball crossing her body so she can get the biggest and best contact to be able to swing with good control and range. She can find space down the line and drive it, which can be challenging for lefty arms at the outside position. Competing with Boss CLE ‘s top 15U team, this group recently secured a 15 American bid to the USAV GJNC at the OVR bid event.

Mulgrew (*pictured) is a confident talent that has big potential to grow regarding her skills, stock, and in the 2029 rankings. She has good length, is athletic and physical, while also featuring a big left arm when attacking. Elyria Catholic made a deep postseason run as Mulgrew was second on the team offensively among a young group of point scorers that should have them firmly in the mix next Fall high school season. Coming to Columbus from Cleveland is yet another lefty hammer that has broad shoulders and can attack from anywhere. Although her attack touch wasn’t the highest in the Exposure Tour, she still found seams in the block to score points more often than not. On defense, Mollie’s broad blocking hands and shoulders are strong and were a problem for opposing attackers. She’s solid on floor defense in the front row as an off-blocker defender, and looks to project as a three-rotation right side at the next level.

Mulgrew is a 5’10 lefty with good firepower from the right side of the court. Her movement is fluid in her slow to fast approach that creates good momentum and lift. When on time in the air her open shoulders can generate good pace upon contact. Her skills and athleticism are a factor in other areas as she contributes in serve receive while also capable of putting up an aggressive block defensively.
