Muoneke plays for TAV Houston 16 Adidas and is one of the most lethal scorers in the division. She joined the club this season and immediately became one of their main offensive weapons, taking their scoring to another level with her game. Muoneke is extremely physical and has been doing a great job of building her game around it, adding new shots to her offense and using her high contact point to beat blockers. She can score in a variety of ways and has the energy and the confidence to carry a huge offensive load. Muoneke has also been getting better and better on the backcourt and is a very productive defender.

The sophomore outside hitter played an unbelievable match, carrying Cy-Ranch’s offense and scoring at an excellent rate against a Ridge Point team that is very strong defensively. It was probably the most consistent I ever saw Muoneke play as she started the match very well and kept the same rhythm until the end. She was set a lot and kept swinging until the end, displaying great efficiency even when she was in the middle back position and making very few errors considering her high usage. Muoneke also made some strong defensive plays, generating transition opportunities for her team.

A new face with Cy-Fair this season, Muoneke played like the centerpiece of the team’s offense she is. Her first-set performance wasn’t much impactful, but her game improved after that and she was one of the reasons for the close scores on sets two and three. Set very often, she had some difficulties against Langham Creek’s big block, but displayed good maturity to find solutions for those moments and managed to put the ball down with tips or by tooling the block. She didn’t get to pass in every rotation, but did well when Langham Creek targeted her and also did fine on defense.

One player Blaine won’t get to play with at Concordia Lutheran is Muoneke, who after an incredibly strong freshman season departed to Cy-Fair. The athletic outside hitter was excellent too during the last club season and is a player with the potential to change her new team’s status in the division. Muoneke is a scoring machine, having scored over 550 points as a freshman, and will immediately become the Bobcats’ focal point on offense. Her potential is sky-high and Cy-Fair are lucky to have the ability to help develop it over the next three seasons.

HJV 15 Elite’s roster is absolutely loaded at outside hitter, so just to stand out among such great internal competition is already remarkable from Muoneke. The skill that sets her apart from most pin hitters in her age group is her tremendous offensive power, which makes of her the go-to player when the team needs to score in critical moments. Muoneke is a phenomenal jumper and has one of the heaviest arms in the state, being capable of scoring from anywhere on the court. She has a very good foundation on every other skill too, being an aggressive blocker and a reliable passer and will only get better with time. Muoneke displayed a dangerous top spin jump serve in some moments of the season that could be a weapon in the future too.
