Ashtyn Osborn, a 2028 lefty pin hitter from Waxahachie, brings size, strength, and grit to the right side. Her determination on the court has pushed her to face her struggle in using her right hand too. Broken blocks have shown her the hole in her game and she has taken on the task of learning to close with her non dominant hand when blocking on the right pin. Having the coaches and court availability to get in the practice reps has given her the upper hand her blocking technique. As an athlete her natural ability to move and explode on the court is evident, but learning to control her athletic abilities is what has set her apart. She has taken the time and put in the effort to focus on hand placement, and positioning at the net to ensure her success on both sides of the ball.
