The Freeman junior is a Grand Canyon commit, and the 5’10” OH is dialing in the finer points of her game. An explosive athlete who touches ten-feet, Reed is always a threat to bounce a ball on a fast tempo set, and has added in a roll shot that is tough to defend. Her attack out of the pipe is continuing to evolve, and she is aggressive as a blocker. Her Renovators 18-Kari squad runs a fast and efficient offense guided by  San Diego bound setter Kylee Munday from Post Falls, Idaho. Reed plays determined defense as a six-rotation outside and has proven increasingly solid in serve receive.

Reed is an early 2025 verbal commit to Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, an excellent program competing in the D-1 Western Athletic Conference. (WAC) The junior from Freemen High School is a high-flying attacker who can take over a set when the offense is flowing. Reed will step into a larger leadership role this season with the Scotties, and look to be a part of another big run at the state tournament.

The high riser from Freeman continues a run of players from the Spokane and Coeur d’Alene area to find their way to Grand Canyon University in Phoenix. An outside with a huge vertical, 2025 Reed can pound the ball to the angle and down the line, and shut down opposing attackers with her spring and great press over the net.

Reed is an All-State level performer out of Freeman High School. She can attack above the block and is one of the primary six-rotation outsides for RVC. Defensively she uses her strength and athletic ability to run down shots to the corners and put up an imposing block. There has already been growth in her shot selection from the high school to club season. This weekend she featured a soft tip to the middle of the court, and on tough sets off the net in transition she was able to find a sharp angle and put pressure on the defense. Reed hits rockets when the offense is in the system and the set is located well, she is super impressive running a combo play where she attacks down the middle.
