Attigun Benz Attigun Benz 5'10" | OH/RS Johnson Creek | 2029 WI can pack a punch from the outside where she is a high flying point scorer.  She will be heading into her sophomore season after she already made noise as a freshman for Johnson Creek.  She notched 329 kills and nearly 100 digs.  With an expanded all around game she will be one who can score plenty from the pin, but can be one who can score points out of the backrow as well as the service line. 

Attigun is an incredibly impressive athlete. She doesn’t miss a beat on the court and shows great grit and resilience on every single point. Her sound fundamentals set her up for success, and she moves her shots around. One thing that sets Attigun apart is her ability to make quick decisions and hide them until the last moment, making her nearly impossible to read. She can also play on both pins and earned Division 4 All-State Honorable Mention for her freshman season.

Benz is a Johnson Creek outside that burst onto the prep varsity court in August and has impressed game after game. Racking up 168 kills and averaging 4.7 kills/set, Benz is on fire and a clear go to on her squad. Benz is dynamic when she hits in system. She can go up and over the block, around it, or many times will find the seam. Where she really impresses at such a young age is her out of system attacks. She transitions quickly, has exceptional timing and can unload huge swings that defenders can’t handle.

Attie Benz is a 5’9 outside hitter from the Class of 2029 playing up on the MVP ‘ last=”]’ last=”]’ last=”] 15 Blue Smack team out of the Milwaukee area.  I saw Benz for the first time at the Northern Lights Qualifier in March and again at the JVA World Challenge and was like, “Wow, what high school is she from?” Well…she’s in middle school.  She will be one to watch and be a breakout star in Wisconsin this fall.  She plays with no fear, an aggressive approach where she has plenty of highlight worthy kills.  This is a really balanced MVP ‘ last=”]’ last=”]’ last=”] group who has put together a really strong season.
