About Aubrey

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Im very competitive but love to have fun on the court. I love those intense games that get you on the edge of your chair. Volleyball is so much more than a group of girls on a court, its a family and i try to represent that when i go out and play.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I love to learn nee things. I love feedback and knowing what i need to work on and waht i am doing good. I like the 3 second rule when you make a mistake. The first second you get to reflect that you made the mistake, 2nd second you figure out what you could have done better, and 3rd second you wash it away. After that its gone. We all make mistakes so learn from them and let them fuel you.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I received an honor roll award. I have straight As. I have a 4.0 GPA.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Out on the court I think a setter has a very important job leading their team and making offensive plays/calls. Giving her hitters the best possible opportunities to get a kill. I have stepped up in leadership helping everyone do the best they can and being selfless on the court. I also love the connections im making with my teammates and the teamwork we have created that helps us thrive.

What type of college are you looking for?

To be honest im not quite sure where i want to go yet. I know that i want to continue playing collegiately after high school. I want to play somewhere that support me. That will feel like family to me. A place i can continue to work on my strengths and weaknesses.
