Asche got my attention when I scouted Dike-New Hartford at a Mount Vernon tournament last season. The freshman featured a mature game beyond her years. Fast forward to another in-person scout at the Westside Invite in Cedar Rapids on Oct. 11, 2025, Asche proved she didn’t rest on her laurels. The sophomore stood out on one of the state’s top Class 2A squads. Asche makes up for not having traditional height on the outside by utilizing explosive athleticism and impressive lift on her vertical leap. Technically sound, she generates power in her swing and locates holes in the defense. Asche is a six-rotation contributor already, ranking among the Wolverine leaders in kills and digs.
