About Aubrey

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a calm but competitive presence on the court. I want to work with a cohesive team that lifts each other up but holds each other to a high standard of play. I hold myself to a high standard as well; I want to do my best so my hitters can get the kill.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a driven athlete who strives to do better every practice and game. I like to analyze and study my opponents when possible to better understand their gameplay. I am a quieter person, in general, often thinking before speaking but I am also competitive and want to win.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Academic honors every year since 5th grade. Presidential Academic Honors Memorial Middle School Student of the Month, April 2023

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Teamwork - as a setter, I can't win games without my teammates so this quality is one that I put above others. A great team is a strong team. Composure - maintaining a cool and calm demeanor on the court is so important to me, especially in high stress situations.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college where I can play volleyball and focus on my academics. I want to go to a small - medium size college with a good volleyball program as well as excellent educational opportunities.
