I’ve seen Schabes since her freshman season where she has always shown great footwork and quick hands where she can hold the opposing middle to push the ball quickly to the outside. She will have plenty of options in 2024 where the Wolfpack bring a high powered attack. They will be in a Friday night bracket with OPRF, Plainfield East, and Lincoln Way West.

Everything starts with her feet. Audrey Schabes is quick to the ball where she can get her hands up to deliver a clean ball to her attackers. She is looking to jump set and push the tempo. She has the intangibles and IQ to play at the Open level and will be looking to lead Adversity 16 Adidas all season. She has some talented attackers on this squad where she can really stretch things out along the front line. Adversity will have their first match in Kansas City against Paramount out Virginia.

Audrey is an energetic setter who keeps the ball moving. She played across the back row, and every time she subbed into the game, there was a spark on the court. She has a competitive serve and used it to stay behind the service line for numerous points. Audrey had 18 assists, 10 digs, and an ace in the semifinal match. She also was key in their 3rd place match on Saturday.
