I really like Audrey’s footwork when watching her in action on film. She is never in a rush and positions herself to make confident sets. She exhibits great decision making skills. Her pushes to the far pins look good and she does a good job of changing the pace with her middles, using quick zeros behind her. I must note, her back sets and slides looked pretty good too.

Like with the above mentioned Chabot, Wills hands were also fantastic throughout the day. Her sets were butter and in an era where doubles aren’t called as much, I don’t think I saw one questionable set from her all day. Another valuable piece to her game is her defense. When in the right back, she displayed great reaction speed to balls coming her way. This fall she led her squad in assists with 409.

Wills played a unique role in Tuesday’s matchup against BVSW. She comes in on rotation 3 to replace the right-side hitter to play for one serve-receive rotation before staying for the whole back row session. That was not the highlight of why she’s one of our top performers. Wills had good “flean” serves that kept the Timberwolves out-of-system during the night. Running as one of the setters in the funky 6-2 lineup, Wills had good court awareness to be quick off base defense to be balanced to set in the front row. Her agility and quickness were on display with the lower-quality passes that East was giving her. Wills was able to hand-set those balls and have much better control than doing a bump set.
