Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
As an aggressive libero, I relentlessly pursue every ball and provide unyielding defense. My quick reflexes and anticipation help me read the game and make crucial saves. I constantly communicate with my teammates to ensure our defense is tight and coordinated. My goal is to be the backbone of the team’s defense, providing stability and support in every rally.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I have a strong mentality and always strive to go for the ball, no matter the challenge. I balance my tenacity with good leadership, ensuring I support and guide my teammates effectively. My bubbly personality helps keep the team’s morale high and fosters a positive environment. I'm dedicated to both my personal performance and the success of the team.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I’m in the institute of health sciences and have received a merit scholarship.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I've developed strong leadership by guiding my team during volleyball tournaments and teamwork through effective collaboration with my teammates. I stay calm under pressure, making strategic decisions even in high-stress situations. Additionally I've embraced community service by participating in events that give back such as St Vincent De Paul which is an organization who gives food to the hungry
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
Yes, I’ve faced a significant challenge this season. My team lost two key players, which meant we had to quickly adjust our lineup. Even though I’m a libero, I’ve had to step in and play as an outside hitter to help fill the gap. It’s pushed me out of my comfort zone, but it’s also helped me grow as a more versatile and confident player.
What type of college are you looking for?
I’m looking for a competitive D1 college that excels in both athletics and academics. I want to further my education at an institution that challenges me on the volleyball court and in the classroom. My goal is to become a Physician Assistant, so a strong pre-med program is essential. Balancing rigorous academics with high-level volleyball competition is a priority for me.
