Audrina had a good day at the Houston Showcase and the court coaches on the floor took notice. She kept her platform clean throughout both sessions and was one of the more reliable passers in the building when servers were going right at her. What stood out most was how she carried herself between points. No drama, no hanging her head, just reset and go. She communicated with the players around her and kept the energy on her side of the net moving forward. The 5’5″ frame gives her some extra range in the back row and she used it well. Paysse is a player who does her job quietly and does it right, and that showed all afternoon. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for this showcase.

Paysse was among the most efficient and reliable defenders on Saturday. Her positioning was arguably the most interesting aspect of her game, as she not only read plays extremely well and was always covering the right zones, but also managed to make excellent last-second adjustments, giving her a better chance to get to balls that would initially be outside of her range. Very quick with her movement, Paysse also displayed impressive accuracy with her diving digs, avoiding tips and shots from going down in her zone. The libero also showed quality at the service line, firing aggressive floaters across the net.
