Amano can handle well-struck balls, only lunging when needed, yet under control. Amano makes good adjustment on redirected balls and has nice topspin on her jump serves. Amano has 135 digs and 40 aces for the Panthers on the season.

Amano has helped 14 REN form a sound defense. She takes minimal steps to the ball and makes the simple passes. Amano does what she can to keep her body aimed at the targets on those important first touches with a sound platform. Amano does a good job communicating with teammates on the court. Amano adds in great reflexes and range to help her cause in the back row. Amano sends out of system balls back toward the net. Amano makes quality out of system sets so teammates can send down balls across the net. Amano does a great job mixing up her jump float and jump spin serves to different locations on the court. Amano pains the lines consistently to create quick points for 14 REN.
