Expert Analysis
Mike Graham | Prep Dig Scout
Freije had been having a solid season for 14 REN before an injury sidelined her for 12 weeks. She made it back for the national tournament and became a force when she took her rips. One could not even tell she’d been injured. Freije pounds out tough cross shots with amazing zip. Freije does a great job reacting on defense on tipped balls. She makes the simple passes and is a sound blocker. Freije made the CPA varsity and could be a key if the Lions are to make it back to the Division II-AA title game following a runner-up finish last fall.

Freije (pictured) has returned from an injury with great tenacity. Freije attacks seams with precision. She has a great approach, extension and high attack point making it difficult for opponent to block her. She takes advantage of great spacing from the net and puts great power into balls with her natural athleticism. Freije has tough crosses to the side lines and reacts quickly on tipped balls defensively. She’ll be fun to watch her four years in high school.
