With the physical Bobnar at the net, Magnolia registered four wins and four losses over the weekend. The senior middle offered her team a strong presence at the net and was a factor on both sides of the ball. Bobnar had a very high contact point and displayed enough firepower to make it hard for opposing defenders to control her swings – she also hit from the left in one rotation and did well. The middle’s blocking was also very productive, as she always reacted quickly and was able to put up a big block in front of opponents. Bobnar was effective from the service line too, serving aggressively and getting opponents out of system.
