Ava Grace Crump Ava Grace Crump S Armuchee | 2028 GA has been among Georgia’s assist leaders throughout the season. Ava’s value starts with repetition. When a setter handles this many second contacts, she doesn’t get to rely on one perfect footwork pattern or one ideal pass. She is going to set while moving forward, backward, off one foot and after defending the first contact. Those are the uncomfortable reps that develop touch.

What I want to keep tracking is how deliberately she uses all that experience. High-volume setting can either create habits or create understanding. The next level of Ava’s game is using the information she’s gathered—blocker tendencies, hitter preferences, score situations—to make the offense increasingly difficult to read rather than simply increasingly consistent. ~ S.Fitzgerald @BenchtoBeast_prepdigga
