About Ava

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I'm a versatile front-row player. I've played outside hitter, middle blocker, and right side during my high school season. I played for both of my club seasons. I'm known for having strong leadership on and off the court.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I go into every game with a team-first mindset. When teammates get frustrated or upset I try my best to pick them up. I'm very out-going and energetic. I love being at tournaments and games with my teammates.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Puyallup School District, Merit certificate for school safety patrol. In 7th grade I was Microsoft Office Specialist certified. In 8th grade I received an excellence in math award & competency in Marketing Fundamentals. In 9th grade I recieved an award for 4.0 GPA both semesters and perfect attendance. Presidental award for outstanding academic excellence and excellence in algebra award in 2025.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

The skills I have and still am developing the most is leadership, responsibility, and teamwork.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, I was cut from my seventh grade volleyball team which made me lose some hope but after a year of hardwork I tried again and made my school's eigth grade volleyball team.

What type of college are you looking for?

As a class of 2028 graduate, I would love to play at the collegiate level. I want to be in a program that values high academic culture and good team chemistry. I take pride in being a leader on and off the court. My goal is to keep developing as a player and as a teammate, constantly improving my game while helping build a team that pushes each other to succeed.
