Murray is part of the TAV Houston 17 Black J team that will play in the 17s Division. A power hitter, she can play on both pins, but is probably at her best on the right, where she can have her focus almost entirely on scoring points. Murray makes the most of her six-foot frame to overcome blockers at the net and is always very intentional with her swings, aiming for open spots on the court. She does very well when hitting a quicker set on the right, but also does well in out-of-system plays, using every bit of her length to her advantage. Murray is also a very effective blocker who reads opponents efficiently and times her jumps very well.
