Jenilee Ngo Jenilee Ngo 5'4" | DS/L Jordan | 2027 TX , a Class of 2027 libero from Jordan High School and Houston Stellar Volleyball Club, is a back row competitor who has earned her place on the Prep Dig Texas 2027 Watch List by consistently performing at one of the most competitive club levels in the Houston area. At 5’4″, she plays with the low, compact efficiency the position demands and brings a relentless defensive energy that shows up on every rally regardless of the score. Competing on the 17 Elite team within a program of that caliber puts her in front of coaches and against competition that tests her skill set in a way that accelerates development faster than most players her age get to experience. Jenilee is a prospect worth monitoring as her senior year approaches and college staffs continue to build their back row rosters. We are very proud to have her listed on our Official Watch List and will be keeping our eye on her progress.

She consistently holds her angle in serve receive, delivering reliable passes even under pressure. Jenilee communicates effectively with her hitters, serving as the eyes for them when facing tough blocks. Her court awareness and leadership make her a key asset in both defense and offense. With her positive energy and smart play, she continues to be a standout contributor for Houston Stellar .

Jenilee is currently an unranked prospect in the 2027 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but is listed on our official Watch List.  She plays for Jordan High School and also for the Houston Stellar club.  There were quite a few liberos that attended the showcase and very few stood out like Miss Ngo did throughout the entire event.  She has a very unique ability to control her entire body both before and after contact with the ball.  I love how she holds her platform firm well after contact to ensure that the angle of her forearms is perfect.  It takes some serious discipline to make sure that your focus is on something that delicate, but Jenilee does it at a very high level.  All younger players who want to pass at an elite level should study just how consistent she is with her footwork and base as she moves to the ball and during contact.  College coaches definitely should give her a few looks as she can help a program excel in serve receive and defense if they give her a chance.  We loved everything we saw from her and she definitely deserves recognition for her hard work at her craft.  Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for this showcase.

Jenilee Ngo Jenilee Ngo 5'4" | DS/L Jordan | 2027 TX , a 2027 DS/L, is extremely consistent in serve receive and consistently delivers “dime” passes. She shows great angle discipline and holds her platform through the ball, creating clean, controlled reps. Ngo split steps and moves exceptionally well, using her athleticism to stay balanced and arrive on time. Her performance earned a 2.43 in a short serve-receive drill, highlighting her reliability and high-level technique in the back row.

Jenilee is on our watch list for the consistency and impact she brings in the back row. Defensively, she covers the entire left side with discipline and hustle, getting touches on nearly every ball that comes her way. She plays with confidence in all areas of her game and isn’t afraid to step up and use her hands to set hitters out of system, which adds tremendous value to her team. In serve receive, Jenilee is steady and reliable, delivering strong passes that help keep her offense in rhythm. With her all-around ability and confident presence, Jenilee is definitely a player to keep an eye on as she continues to grow in this high school season and club.

Ngo was with the Houston Stellar 16 Elite side that ranked sixth two weekends ago, with a campaign of one win and four losses. Despite her team’s struggles, she was a bright spot for them on the backcourt, using her excellent positioning and ball control to generate many transition plays for them. Ngo also handled well her serve-receive duties, delivering most serves that went her way with great efficiency. The libero was solid when asked to set in transition plays, showing calm to step up and feed her hitters with well-placed balls.

Ngo and her Houston Stellar 16 Elite team finished fifth this weekend, with three wins and two losses. Her hard work and high-energy game on the backcourt were one of the team’s main strengths. A very technical player, Ngo handled efficiently every ball that went her way, be it a serve or a swing. She also played with great energy and positively impacted her teammates’ moods.
