About Ava

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style is highly versatile and consistent. I am an aggressive attacker with an ability to rack up kills, showcasing both power and precision. My serving is reliable and I maintain composure under pressure. Defensively, I am an active presence, consistently racking up digs and contributing blocks, demonstrating well-rounded skills in both offense and defense.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m not only a three-sport athlete but also highly involved in Future Business Leaders of America. I’ve been a part of FBLA for four years and have served as the president of my chapter for the past three years. During my time in the organization, I’ve earned numerous awards, including placing 3rd in the state of Washington in Marketing Concepts. I’m also a member of the National Honor Society.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college that will offer me with a strong education that I can rely on long after my volleyball career is over. Academics are a priority because I want to be well-prepared for my future beyond the sport. Equally important to me is finding a program where the teammates feel like family.
