Zhelev is producing in all six rotations for Amplus Academy. She is averaging 2.5 kills per set while also contributing consistently in the back row and from the service line.

Ava brings a strong arm swing that stands out right away. She works to get her feet in position early, which allows her to take a variety of shots rather than relying on one look. That footwork gives her more offense than most outsides her age, since she can adjust her shot based on the block in front of her. She plays with intent, and her game reads like one that will only grow more versatile as she develops. Coaches evaluating her now are seeing a hitter who already understands that footwork matters as much as arm speed.
