Avery is a player who stands out in a number of areas. First she is super quick on her feet and makes if look effortless when she contacts a ball. Her technique is smooth and flawless as she touches the ball. She gets good extension on her passes and doesn’t get out of position too often. She does a great job on those contacts of keeping her team in system and controlling the back row with her communication and skill level.
She also puts a incredible out of system ball for her hitters, it makes it seem like they aren’t even out of system. Even more impressive is her ability to cover hitters and put the team back into system even after her team gets blocked. Avery is also LOUD, and we do love our LOUD liberos who can communicate and have that energy a team needs. In longer rallies she is also relentless, never quitting on a play and never not moving her feet in transition. She does a wonderful job with her movement as she goes from serve receive to coverage and back to base.
Easily a player you need to get out and see this month! She is a monster on defense and passes straight dimes in serve receive. She always elevates her teams levels with her play and is someone that is going to contribute at the next level.
