We move from Blue Valley West to Blue Valley Southwest. It’s no surprise to see the Kansas City area churning out pin-hitting gems, especially with so many clubs flourishing in the metro. 913 Athletics 16 National has entered the spotlight behind Farnsworth’s quick, whippy arm at the left-side hitter spot. This electrifying sophomore wields a cross-court hammer that can carve indefensible angles in front of defenders. Farnsworth and her team turned heads with a runner-up finish in the Sunshine Classic’s 16 Liberty division. The squad hasn’t yielded since that effort.
