Hawkins has great instincts in the back row. She sticks out one arm to keep plays alive, yet stays under control. Hawkins is an aggressive blocker whether solo or on double blocks. Hawkins also sends hard serves across the net. Her versatility and passion for the game is noticeable and will go a long way for her at the next level.
