Avery Kohler had one of the busiest setting weekends in the state. She posted 22 assists, three digs and a solo block against Coahulla Creek, then 19 assists, five digs and two aces against South Aiken. Later, in Mount Paran’s three-set win over Midtown, Avery delivered 33 assists and seven digs.

Avery had to manage different types of matches without much time between them. Sweeps demand efficiency; a tight three-setter demands patience. What I like is how her assist volume rose when Mount Paran needed more offense against Midtown.
