Martin arrived on the radar last club season during preliminary evaluations of this class. Her passing and defensive skills are solid as she plays her role as a libero with good composure in her preparation, reaction and movement to pursue the ball. She understands well how to use her platform to create time and space for their offense to go to work while also showing good range to play the ball and create opportunities that robs opponents of points. Martin’s freshman varsity season for traditional Ohio power Gilmour Academy included a 13.8 d/m average to lead the Lancers.
